Pan-fried fish with tahini sauce is a healthy and delicious dish that can be easily prepared using a skillet. It combines tender fish with a rich, creamy tahini sauce, and is best served with fresh lemon slices for a refreshing touch.
Cooking Time: 40 minutes
Serves: 4 people
Ingredients
For the Tahini Sauce:
1/4 cup tahini
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 garlic clove, minced
A pinch of chili pepper
Warm water (as needed, to thin the sauce)
For the Fish:
4 fish fillets
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt (to taste)
Black pepper (to taste)
Fresh dill, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon slices (for serving)
Instructions
Heat a skillet over high heat.
Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Season the fish with salt and black pepper, then brush with olive oil on both sides.
Place the fish in the skillet, reduce the heat to low, and cover.
Cook for about 7 minutes on each side (depending on thickness), until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Meanwhile, prepare the tahini sauce by mixing tahini, lemon juice, salt, garlic, and chili pepper in a small bowl.
Gradually add warm water until you reach a smooth, creamy consistency.
Serve the fish immediately, topped with the tahini sauce. Garnish with chopped dill and serve with lemon slices.
Enjoy your meal!
