Serves
5 people
Ingredients
For the Dough:
All-purpose flour: 2 cups
Vegetable oil: 4 tablespoons
Salt: a pinch
Warm water: as needed (for kneading)
For the Filling:
Mozzarella cheese: 1 cup
Feta cheese: ½ cup (crumbled)
Black pepper: a pinch
Dried thyme: a pinch
Vegetable oil: for deep frying
Preparation Method
In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and vegetable oil. Gradually add warm water and knead well until you get a soft, smooth dough that does not stick to the hands.
Cover the dough and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
In another bowl, combine the mozzarella and feta cheese with black pepper and thyme.
Divide the dough into small, equal balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle, place a spoonful of cheese filling in the center, then fold into a triangle or half-moon shape. Seal the edges well to prevent the filling from leaking أثناء frying.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the samosas until golden and crispy.
Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Arrange the crispy cheese samosas on a serving plate and serve hot.
