10-Minute Biscuits

A wonderful and easy biscuit recipe—perfect if you’re looking for a quick, delicious treat that everyone will love. From Nadormagazine, here’s a simple method using ingredients you likely already have at home.

Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Serves: 5

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • ½ cup vegetable oil

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • A pinch of salt

Method

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the egg with the sugar, vanilla, and oil until fully combined.
Tip: use a hand or electric whisk to get a creamy mixture.

  2. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture. Gently bring the dough together with your hands until smooth and cohesive. Do not over-knead—just enough to form a soft dough.

  4. Take small portions of dough and shape them into balls. You can also press them lightly with a fork or use cookie cutters for decorative shapes.

  5. Arrange the biscuits on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until golden.

  7. Allow the biscuits to cool completely before serving for a crisp texture.
