Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 2 cups (sifted)

  • Peanut butter (smooth): 1 cup

  • Baking powder: 1 teaspoon

  • Sugar: 2/3 cup

  • Vegetable shortening: 1 cup

  • Vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, peanut butter, baking powder, sugar, shortening, and vegetable oil. Mix well until you get a soft dough.

  3. Shape medium-sized balls from the dough and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Flatten each ball slightly with your hands to form cookie shapes.

  4. Bake in the oven until the cookies are fully cooked (golden and firm).

  5. Let the peanut butter cookies cool on a serving plate before serving.
