White Pasta with Creamy Sauce and Parmesan Cheese
Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serves: 3 people
Ingredients:
400 grams pasta
100 grams butter
1 tablespoon flour
4 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 cup fresh cream
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt (to taste)
Black pepper (to taste)
A pinch of nutmeg
250 grams fresh mushrooms (sliced)
Method:
Cook your preferred pasta in boiling salted water until tender, following the package instructions.
Drain the pasta, saving a bit of the pasta water aside.
Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the chopped garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until softened.
Add the mushrooms and flour, stirring until the mushrooms become tender and golden in color.
Pour in the cream and milk, stirring well to combine.
Add the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. Stir until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the reserved pasta water to loosen it.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss well to coat evenly.
Serve the white pasta hot, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese.
This creamy pasta makes a perfect side dish alongside grilled chicken or meat! It’s rich and comforting—perfect for a cozy meal. Let me know if you give it a try!
