Easiest Homemade Bread Recipe



Preparation Time: 60 minutes
Serves: 6 people
Ingredients:

4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm water (for kneading)
1 teaspoon instant yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Method:
In a small bowl, combine the yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes until the yeast activates.
In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt together.
Add the yeast mixture and oil to the flour mixture and knead the dough until it’s smooth, soft, and no longer sticky.
If the dough feels too dry, gradually add more water as needed.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and leave it in a warm place for about an hour until it doubles in size.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
Punch the dough down to release any air and knead it gently.
Shape the dough into the desired bread size.
Place the loaves on a greased baking sheet.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the bread is golden brown, soft inside, and crusty outside.
Let the bread cool slightly before serving. Any leftover bread can be stored in an airtight bag.
