👨👩👧 Serves

🛒 Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup extra flour (for kneading and dusting)
½ tsp salt
3½ tbsp butter
¾ cup milk
Optional: extra butter (for brushing the bread after cooking)
👩🍳 Method
In a bowl, mix flour with salt.
Heat the milk with butter until the butter fully melts, then add it to the flour mixture.
Knead the dough for about 2 minutes until smooth. Add a little extra flour if it feels sticky.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Divide the dough into 6 equal balls. Roll each one into a round shape about 20 cm in diameter and 2–3 mm thick.
Heat a non-stick pan over high heat (no oil needed).
Cook each dough round for 1–2 minutes until it puffs up and turns golden, then flip and cook for 45–60 seconds on the other side.
Repeat with the remaining dough. Keep the bread covered with a clean towel to stay soft.
Brush with melted butter if you want a richer taste.
🍽️ Serving Tip
Serve warm with grilled meats, hummus, or fresh salads. It also works perfectly as sandwich bread or for dipping.
