Mashed Potatoes with Makdous Filling

👩‍🍳 Preparation Method

  1. Boil the potatoes until soft, then mash them with a little butter.

  2. Add salt, black pepper, and flour, and mix well until smooth and combined.

  3. Line a rectangular cake mold with plastic wrap.

  4. Spread a layer of mashed potatoes, then add a layer of chopped makdous and walnuts.

  5. Repeat layers (potatoes → filling → potatoes) until finished, ending with a potato layer on top.

  6. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 60 minutes to set.

  7. Carefully flip onto a serving plate.

  8. Garnish with chopped makdous, walnuts, dill, and pomegranate seeds.
