Grilled Halloumi & Honey Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of toast bread

  • 150 g halloumi cheese (sliced)

  • 2 tsp honey

  • 2 tsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp butter (for toasting the bread)

  • Tomato slices (optional)

  • A pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat and add olive oil.

  2. Grill the halloumi slices until golden brown on both sides.

  3. Place the grilled halloumi on one slice of bread and drizzle evenly with honey.

  4. Add tomato slices and a pinch of black pepper (optional).

  5. Cover with the second slice of bread.

  6. Heat butter in the pan and toast the sandwich on both sides until golden and crispy.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
