Ingredients
2½ cups flour (or as needed for kneading)
1 cup butter (cold / 200 g)
½ cup powdered sugar
¼ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup water
A pinch of vanilla
A pinch of salt
Method
In a bowl, beat the butter with powdered sugar until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
Add the oil and vanilla, then mix well again.
Gradually add the water while continuing to mix until fully combined.
Add the flour and a pinch of salt, then knead gently until you get a soft, smooth, and easy-to-shape dough.
Transfer the dough into a piping bag and pipe small cookie shapes onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10–15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Let the cookies cool completely before serving or decorating as desired.
