Main ingredients
1 package phyllo dough (goulash pastry) or puff pastry, baked and broken into pieces
2 cups milk
1 cup liquid cream
1 cup cream (ashta)
½ cup sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ cup mixed nuts (almonds, pistachios, hazelnuts)
1 cup mixed fruits (strawberries, bananas, mango), chopped
2 tablespoons raisins
Preparation Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Arrange a layer of the baked phyllo dough or puff pastry in a baking dish.
Add a layer of cream, then sprinkle fruits, nuts, and raisins on top.
Repeat the layers and finish with a top layer of pastry.
In a saucepan, heat the milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, but do not let it boil.
Pour the hot milk mixture evenly over the pastry layers in the baking dish.
Sprinkle cinnamon and extra nuts on top.
Bake in the oven for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
