Easy & Quick Baked Pasta with Béchamel

 

A delicious and comforting dish loved by everyone, featuring rich layers of pasta, seasoned minced meat, and creamy béchamel sauce. It’s simple to prepare and perfect for a complete family meal.

🧾 Ingredients

For the Béchamel Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • A pinch of salt

  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper

  • A pinch of nutmeg

  • ½ cup grated cheese

Main Ingredients:

  • 300 g pasta

  • 250 g minced meat

  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 garlic clove (crushed)

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • A pinch of mixed spices

  • 2 tablespoons oil

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until half-cooked, then drain and set aside.

  2. In a pan, heat the oil and sauté the chopped onion until soft.
    Add garlic and minced meat, cooking until browned.
    Season with salt, black pepper, and spices.

  3. To prepare the béchamel:

    • Melt butter in a saucepan.

    • Add flour and stir for about 1 minute.

    • Gradually add milk while stirring continuously until smooth and thick.

    • Season with salt, white pepper, and nutmeg, then add grated cheese.

  4. In a baking dish:

    • Add half of the pasta

    • Add a layer of minced meat

    • Cover with the remaining pasta

  5. Pour the béchamel sauce evenly over the top.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes until golden on top.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

For extra flavor, sprinkle some mozzarella or parmesan on top before baking for a crispy, cheesy crust 😋
