Ingredients – Roasted Potatoes with Soy Sauce
4 medium potatoes
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon brown sugar (or honey)
How to Prepare Roasted Potatoes with Soy Sauce
Wash the potatoes well and peel them if desired. Cut into evenly sized cubes or wedges.
Boil the potatoes in salted water for 5 minutes (optional) to speed up roasting and ensure a soft interior. Drain well.
In a large bowl, combine the potatoes with olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, black pepper, paprika, and dried thyme.
Add the brown sugar or honey to enhance caramelization and give a rich color. Mix well until the potatoes are fully coated.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
Spread the potatoes evenly on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, avoiding overcrowding.
Roast for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Serve hot as a side dish or as a snack with extra sauce if desired. 🥔✨
