200 g ground turkey
¼ cup lettuce, chopped
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 teaspoons light mayonnaise
2 teaspoons barbecue sauce
½ teaspoon hot sauce
2 tablespoons cheese
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
A pinch of salt
A pinch of black pepper
Burger buns, as needed
Method
Slice the burger buns in half. Spread ketchup on the bottom half of each bun and add the chopped lettuce.
In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, and hot sauce. Set aside.
In another bowl, place the ground turkey and season with salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix well.
Shape the turkey mixture into patties and gently press the center of each one.
Grill the patties for about 5 minutes, then flip and grill for another 3 minutes.
Place the cheese on top of the patties and allow it to melt.
Transfer the turkey patty onto the lettuce-lined bun, spread the sauce mixture on top, close the sandwich, and serve hot.
