Chicken Chips Pasta – Creamy and Crispy Delight


Chicken Chips Pasta is a modern and delicious dish that combines easy preparation with rich, creamy flavor. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, it’s ideal for the whole family, especially lovers of saucy dishes.

Ingredients:

For the pasta and sauce:

  • Pasta (penne): 250 g

  • Cooking cream: 1 cup

  • Milk: ½ cup

  • Butter: 2 tbsp

  • Flour: 2 tbsp

  • Garlic: 1 clove (mashed)

  • Salt: to taste

  • Black pepper: to taste

  • Paprika: ½ tsp

  • Parmesan cheese: 1 tbsp (grated)

For the chicken:

  • Chicken breasts: 2 (sliced)

  • Cornflakes: 1 cup (coarsely crushed)

  • Egg: 1 (beaten)

  • Salt: a pinch

  • Black pepper: a pinch

  • Paprika: ½ tsp

  • Garlic powder: ½ tsp

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the chicken:

    • Season chicken slices with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder on all sides.

    • Dip the chicken in beaten egg, then coat evenly with crushed cornflakes.

    • Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy, or bake in the oven for 20 minutes for a lighter version.

  2. Cook the pasta:

    • Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions until cooked, then drain.

  3. Make the creamy sauce:

    • Melt butter in a pan over medium heat, add garlic, then stir in flour for 1 minute.

    • Gradually add milk while stirring constantly until smooth.

    • Add cooking cream, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

    • Let the sauce simmer until thickened, then stir in Parmesan cheese.

  4. Combine pasta and sauce:

    • Mix the cooked pasta with the creamy sauce until evenly coated.

  5. Serve:

    • Place the creamy pasta on a serving dish and top with crispy chicken slices.
