Easy Fried Cheese Sticks

Fried cheese sticks are a delicious hot appetizer that combines crispy coating with the rich, melted flavor of cheese. They can be served as a snack or a side dish for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Cheddar cheese: 500 g

  • Eggs: 3

  • Black pepper: ½ tsp

  • Salt: ¼ tsp

  • Breadcrumbs: 1 cup

  • Flour: 1 cup

  • Oil: plenty, for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the cheese into medium-sized sticks of equal length.

  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt and black pepper.

  3. Coat each cheese stick in flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally roll in breadcrumbs for a crispy layer.

  4. Heat oil in a pan until it starts boiling, then reduce the heat slightly. Fry the cheese sticks until golden and crispy.

  5. Place the fried sticks on paper towels to drain excess oil.

  6. Serve hot with marinara sauce or ketchup as desired.
