Tech giant Apple is gearing up this week to launch three new devices, all powered by its latest M5 chip. This move comes just weeks after the announcement of the iPhone 17 and the new AirPods Pro.
-
A new version of the iPad Pro.
-
An updated edition of the Vision Pro headset.
-
A new MacBook Pro.
-
A new chip built using TSMC’s N3P technology.
All of these devices will feature the M5 chip, a significant upgrade over the previous M4 chip. The new processor is manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm N3P process, promising faster performance and higher energy efficiency, especially for professional apps and high-intensity graphics.
The iPad Pro M5 will retain a design similar to the current model, with at least 12GB of RAM and support for Wi-Fi 7. The Vision Pro headset will see performance improvements, more comfortable grips, and possibly a new space black color option.
Meanwhile, the MacBook Pro with the new M5 chip will maintain its current design, Mini-LED display, and standard ports, with the update focusing on enhanced graphics performance. The higher-end M5 Pro and M5 Max versions are expected to launch early next year.
