Ingredients

Chicken: 1.5 kg (cleaned and cut)

Salt: a pinch

Mixed spices: 1 tsp

Ground black lemon: 1

Black pepper: a pinch

Tomato paste: 4 tbsp

Ghee (or butter): 2 tbsp

Onion: 4 (sliced into rings)

Potatoes: 4 (sliced)

Tomatoes: 4 (sliced)

Water: ¼ cup
Instructions

Season the chicken with salt, mixed spices, ground black lemon, and 2 tbsp of tomato paste. Set aside to marinate.

Grease a baking dish with ghee, then layer the onion rings at the bottom.

Place the marinated chicken on top of the onions, then arrange the potato and tomato slices over the chicken.

Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

Mix the remaining tomato paste with ¼ cup of water and pour over the top of the dish.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) and cover the dish with aluminum foil.

Bake for 60 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked.
