Ingredients
For the filling:
-
3 tbsp melted butter
-
¼ cup sugar
-
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
-
½ cup warm milk
-
1 tsp instant coffee
For the white cinnabon glaze:
-
4 cubes cream cheese
-
1 can sweetened condensed milk
For garnish (optional):
-
Caramel sauce
-
Chocolate sauce
-
Chopped nuts
For the base:
-
5 soft bread rolls (Eish Fino)
Instructions
-
Slice the bread rolls into rings about 1.5–2 cm thick.
-
Grease a baking dish with a little butter and arrange the bread slices in it.
-
Dip each slice briefly in the warm milk mixed with instant coffee, then place it back in the dish — this makes the bread soft and moist.
-
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with sugar and cinnamon until combined.
-
Brush the top of each bread slice with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
-
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
-
For the glaze: blend the cream cheese with the condensed milk until smooth and creamy (adjust thickness by adding more milk if desired).
-
Once the cinnabon is out of the oven, pour the glaze over it while still hot.
-
Garnish with caramel, chocolate sauce, or chopped nuts to taste.
Serve warm and enjoy your quick & delightful shortcut cinnabon!
