Ingredients

1 kg sardines, cleaned

½ cup lemon juice

2 tbsp vegetable oil

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 tomato, finely chopped

1 tsp ground coriander

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp turmeric
-
1 tsp salt

1 tsp chili powder
-
1 tbsp rosemary

10 slices lemon
Method

In a large bowl, mix together the lemon juice, rosemary, garlic, vegetable oil, tomato, salt, cumin, coriander, paprika, chili powder, and turmeric until well combined.

Add the sardines to the marinade and toss until fully coated.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Arrange the sardines in a baking dish and top with lemon slices.
