Rice Pudding (Without Cornstarch)

Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Serves: 6 people

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup rice

  • 1 liter milk

  • 1 liter water

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • ½ cup cream (or whipped cream)

  • 1 cup raisins (for garnish)

  • Cinnamon, to taste (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Place the rice in a pot over the stove and add the water. Stir continuously until it boils and the rice absorbs the water.

  2. When the mixture thickens, add the cream and sugar, and stir well.

  3. Add a pinch of salt and mix thoroughly, then turn off the heat.

  4. Spoon the rice pudding into serving dishes and top with raisins and cinnamon.

  5. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
