Mango Trifle Dessert

Mango trifle is a popular English dessert, known for its delicious taste and versatility. Try this recipe and serve it to your family on hot summer days.

Ingredients:

  • Sponge cake: 1 ready-made cake (cut into cubes)

  • Mango: 3 cups (cut into cubes)

  • White sugar: ¼ cup

  • Lemon juice: 2 teaspoons

  • Milk: 1 cup

  • Heavy whipping cream: 2 cups

  • Chopped nuts: 1 cup

  • White chocolate chips: ½ cup

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the cream:
    In a medium bowl, whisk the milk and heavy whipping cream together for 5 minutes until thickened.

  2. Prepare the mango:
    Place the mango cubes in a separate bowl, sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice, and set aside.

  3. Assemble the trifle:

    • Layer the sponge cake cubes at the bottom of your serving dish.

    • Spread a layer of whipped cream over the cake.

    • Add a layer of mango on top of the cream.

    • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.

  4. Decorate:
    Top with chopped nuts and white chocolate chips.
