Despacito Cake

Despacito Cake is a Brazilian-style cake featuring a soft sponge base topped with a rich chocolate sauce. It’s perfect to serve alongside your favorite hot beverage.

Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Serves: 6 people

Ingredients:

  • Ready-made baked chocolate cake: 1 pack

  • Eggs: 2

  • Vegetable oil: ⅓ cup

  • Milk (plain): 1 cup

  • Vanilla: 1 teaspoon

  • Milk (chocolate): 1 cup

  • Ready-made chocolate pudding: 1 pack

  • Milk (for pudding): 1½ cups

  • Nutella chocolate spread: ½ cup (for pudding)

  • Chocolate pieces: as desired (for decoration)

Instructions:

  1. Bake the cake:
    Prepare the ready-made cake batter and bake in a Pyrex dish for 45 minutes at 180°C (356°F).

  2. Cool and soak:
    Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
    Using a fork, make wide holes in the cake and pour chocolate milk over the warm cake.
    Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.

  3. Prepare the pudding:
    Mix the ready-made pudding with milk and Nutella until smooth.

  4. Assemble the cake:
    Pour the pudding over the soaked cake.

  5. Decorate:
    Top with chocolate pieces as desired. Return the cake to the fridge, then slice and serve chilled.
