Turkey Burger

📝 Ingredients:

  • 500g ground turkey breast (about 1 lb)

  • 1/3 cup barbecue sauce

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs, fine

  • 1 tsp garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

👩‍🍳 How to Make It:

  1. Mix the Ingredients
    In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, barbecue sauce, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. Shape the Patties
    Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into round burger patties. Place them on parchment paper.

  3. Freeze
    Place the patties in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm them up before cooking.

  4. Grill
    Preheat your grill. Cook the patties for 5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and nicely grilled.

  5. Serve
    Brush the burgers with a little extra barbecue sauce, and serve hot—on buns or with your favorite sides.
