Nut Nougat

Nut nougat is a type of confection made with sugar and/or honey and roasted nuts. It can be easily prepared at home in various ways and with different flavors.

Ingredients:

  • Marshmallows: 300 grams

  • Nuts (mixed or your choice): 100 grams

  • Butter: 4 tablespoons

  • Powdered milk: 1 cup

Instructions:

  1. Melt the Butter & Marshmallows:
    Place the butter in a pan over low heat. Add the marshmallows and let them melt slightly, stirring until you get a sticky, creamy consistency.

  2. Add the Dry Ingredients:
    Add the powdered milk and nuts to the melted mixture. Stir well until everything is thoroughly combined.

  3. Shape the Nougat:
    Spread the mixture evenly in a tray lined with parchment paper or dusted with powdered sugar and cornstarch to prevent sticking.

  4. Chill:
    Place the tray in the refrigerator until the nougat is firm and set.

  5. Cut & Serve:
    Once set, cut into your desired shape. Tip: Lightly oil the knife before cutting to prevent sticking.
