⏱️ Cooking Time: 60 minutes

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Serves: 6 people

🍕 Topping Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 4 tomatoes, chopped

  • 3 green bell peppers, sliced

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • ½ cup tomato sauce

  • 4 sausage links, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme or oregano

  • 1 tablespoon corn kernels

  • 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese

🍞 Dough Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons instant dry yeast

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1½ cups lukewarm water

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

To prepare the dough:

  1. Add vegetable oil to the flour and rub together until well combined.

  2. In a small cup, dissolve yeast and sugar in a bit of warm water. Let it sit until foamy and risen.

  3. Add the activated yeast to the flour, then gradually add the rest of the lukewarm water while kneading.

  4. Continue kneading until the dough is smooth and soft. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in a warm spot for about 60 minutes, or until it doubles in size.

To prepare the topping:

  1. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil and sauté the onions until soft. Add minced garlic and stir for a minute.

  2. Add the green bell peppers and cook for a few more minutes.

  3. Stir in the tomatoes, mushrooms, corn, and sausage. Continue cooking until the vegetables are fully tender.

  4. Sprinkle in the dried thyme or oregano, stir, and remove from heat. Let the mixture cool slightly.

To assemble and bake the pizza:

  1. Lightly oil your countertop and divide the dough into medium-sized balls. Let rest for 10 minutes.

  2. Roll each dough ball into a thin round or rectangular shape using a rolling pin.

  3. Place the dough on a greased or parchment-lined baking tray.

  4. Spread tomato sauce evenly, leaving the edges uncovered.

  5. Spoon the vegetable and sausage topping over the sauce, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

  6. Preheat your oven to high heat (around 230°C / 450°F).

  7. Bake the pizza until the crust is golden and fully cooked, about 12–15 minutes.

  8. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot!
