Diet Vegetable Salad

A vegetable salad is one of the top dishes served for those following almost any type of diet. Try this easy, quick, and filling salad recipe specially made for healthy eating.

Serves: 2 people

Ingredients:

  • 1 tomato, diced

  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 cucumber, diced

  • 1 carrot, peeled and sliced into rounds

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the tomato, cucumber, onion, carrot, and green bell pepper.

  2. Add lemon juice and olive oil.

  3. Sprinkle in the salt and cumin.

  4. Toss everything together and serve the salad fresh.
