Bran Biscuits for Fitness

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup wheat bran

  • ½ cup oats

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • ¼ cup corn oil

  • ¼ cup white sugar

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix wheat bran, oats, all-purpose flour, and whole wheat flour until well combined.

  2. Gradually add milk, oil, egg, and sugar, stirring well. Then, add the baking powder, baking soda, and vanilla extract, and mix until you get a smooth, firm dough.

  3. Roll out the dough on a flat surface, then cut it into your preferred shapes using a cookie cutter.

  4. Arrange the biscuit pieces on a baking tray.

  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  6. Bake the biscuits until they are fully cooked and golden brown.

  7. Let them cool to room temperature, then serve and enjoy!
