Ingredients:

1 cup butter (softened to room temperature)
½ cup white sugar (fine)
½ cup brown sugar
2 eggs (at room temperature)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
A pinch of salt
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup chocolate chips
¼ cup crushed hazelnuts
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a large bowl, beat the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer until the mixture becomes creamy.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and beat well.
In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, continuing to beat until well combined.
Add the chocolate chips and crushed hazelnuts, and fold gently.
Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each ball.
Bake for 13-15 minutes or until the cookies turn golden brown.
