The new feature is based on an integrated archive system that automatically stores status updates once 24 hours have passed since they were posted.
Instead of being permanently deleted, these updates are saved in a private space on the user’s device. No one else can view them, which improves privacy and gives users full control over their content.

This new WhatsApp feature allows users to return to previous status updates at any time.
Users can reorganize old statuses, reuse them in different ways, or simply keep them for personal reference. They can also manually delete any saved status whenever needed, giving them greater freedom in managing their personal archive without restrictions.
Easy Activation and Custom Settings
The new archive feature works automatically in the background without requiring users to manually save expired updates.
However, the feature remains completely optional. Users can enable or disable it through the app’s settings depending on their personal preferences.
