Breakfast Pizza Boats


A quick and delicious breakfast recipe that combines a crispy crust with a rich, cheesy filling of mozzarella, cheddar, colorful vegetables, sausage, and melted cheese. It also works perfectly as an easy dinner option.

🧾 Ingredients

  • French bread: 2 loaves

  • Eggs: 2

  • Milk: ½ cup

  • Mozzarella cheese: 1 cup (grated)

  • Cheddar cheese: ½ cup

  • Mushrooms: ½ cup (chopped)

  • Colored bell peppers: ½ cup (chopped)

  • Olives: ¼ cup (sliced)

  • Sausages: ½ cup

  • Salt: 1 tsp

  • Black pepper: ½ tsp

  • Oregano: ½ tsp

  • Pizza sauce: ¼ cup

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Slice the French bread lengthwise and hollow out the center to form a “boat” shape.

  2. Spread pizza sauce inside each bread boat.

  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Add vegetables, sausages, and cheese, then mix well.

  5. Fill the bread boats with the mixture and sprinkle oregano on top.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese melts and the top turns golden.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy.
