Musakhan rolls are a tasty and quick hot appetizer inspired by the traditional Musakhan dish. They are perfect as a light meal and are known for their rich flavor of chicken, onions, and sumac, combined with the delightful crispiness of the bread.

Ingredients
6 flatbreads (shrak or saj bread)
300 g chicken breast (boiled and shredded or finely chopped)
2 medium onions (thinly sliced)
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons sumac
2 tablespoons pine nuts (toasted)
Salt (to taste)
Black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a pan, then add the onions and sauté until soft and golden.
Add the cooked chicken to the onions. Season with salt, black pepper, and sumac, and cook until well combined.
Lay out the flatbread and place the chicken, onion, and pine nut mixture in the center of each piece. Roll tightly.
Repeat until all the ingredients are used, then place the rolls in a baking tray greased with oil or lined with baking paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Serve hot with a fresh salad or yogurt.
