Ingredients
1 kg fish (cleaned, washed, and dried)
2 tomatoes (chopped)
1 white onion (chopped)
2 green onions (chopped)
2 tablespoons dill (chopped)
1 green chili (chopped)
3 garlic cloves (minced)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
Juice of 1 lemon
3 tablespoons olive oil
Salt (to taste)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, white onion, green onions, dill, green chili, and garlic.
Add tomato paste, lemon juice, and olive oil. Season with salt, black pepper, cumin, cinnamon, and paprika. Mix well until fully combined.
Make light slits on the cleaned fish and rub the marinade inside and outside the fish. Let it rest for 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Place the fish on a baking tray or grill. Cook in a preheated oven at 220°C for 25–30 minutes, or until golden and fully cooked.
Serve hot with lemon slices and optional basmati rice flavored with dill and onions.
