Crispy Chicken Fingers with Creamy Sauce

For the creamy sauce

  • Sour cream: 1 cup (light)

  • Dried parsley: 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon

  • Onion powder: 1 teaspoon

  • Dried dill: ¼ teaspoon

  • Salt: to taste

  • Black pepper: to taste

For the chicken

  • Chicken breast strips: 450 g

  • Greek yogurt: 2 cups

  • Breadcrumbs: 2 cups

  • Salt: 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon

  • Onion powder: 1 teaspoon

  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons

  • Oil: for frying (optional)

Instructions

  1. Coat the chicken strips well in Greek yogurt, making sure they are fully covered.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix breadcrumbs with salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  3. Dredge the yogurt-coated chicken in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.

  4. Lightly grease a baking tray with oil or cooking spray.

  5. Arrange the chicken strips on the tray and drizzle with olive oil.

  6. Bake at 180°C for 40 minutes until fully cooked and no longer pink. Alternatively, deep-fry in hot oil if preferred.

  7. Prepare the creamy sauce by mixing sour cream with parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, salt, and pepper.

  8. Chill the sauce in the refrigerator until serving.

  9. Serve crispy chicken fingers with the chilled creamy sauce.
