Ingredients

For the Topping

  • A pinch of cinnamon

  • ½ cup mixed nuts

Main Ingredients

  • 1 package phyllo dough (goulash pastry) or puff pastry, toasted and broken into pieces

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup cream (ashta)

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

  • ½ cup mixed nuts (almonds, pistachios, hazelnuts)

  • 1 cup mixed fruits, chopped (strawberries, bananas, mango)

  • 2 tablespoons raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Prepare the layers:
    Place a layer of toasted phyllo or puff pastry in a baking dish. Add some cream, then sprinkle fruits, nuts, and raisins.

  3. Repeat the layers until the ingredients are used, finishing with a pastry layer on top.

  4. Prepare the milk mixture:
    In a saucepan, heat the milk, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla. Stir well until the sugar dissolves (do not let it boil).

  5. Assemble the dessert:
    Pour the hot milk and cream mixture evenly over the layered pastry.

  6. Decorate the top with cinnamon and extra nuts.

  7. Bake in the oven for 25–30 minutes until the top turns golden and the dessert sets.
