Tortilla Chips Appetizer Recipe


Crispy tortilla chips are a quick and delicious appetizer that can easily enhance your table. Their crunchy texture and flavorful spices make them a perfect side snack to accompany dips or main dishes.

Ingredients

  • 8 tortillas (wheat or corn)

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional)

  • ½ tsp salt

Preparation Steps

  1. Cut the tortillas into triangles (like nachos).

  2. Mix olive oil and spices in a bowl until well combined.

  3. Coat the tortilla triangles evenly with the spice mixture.

  4. Arrange the triangles on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, making sure not to overlap them.

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 8–12 minutes until golden and crispy. Keep a close eye as they can brown quickly.

  6. Let cool slightly to enhance crunchiness, then serve alongside your favorite dips.
