TikTok Partners with Apple Music to Stream Full Songs

TikTok has announced a partnership with Apple Music, allowing subscribers to listen to full songs without leaving the social media platform.

Seamless Transition
Subscribers who find a song they like on their "For You" page or in the sound details on TikTok can now click the new “Play Full Song” button. This opens Apple Music’s player and lets users enjoy the complete track.

TikTok explained that this feature is designed to make the transition from discovery to deep listening easier. Notably, TikTok currently does not allow full-song playback from other streaming services, including Spotify.

The feature uses Apple’s MusicKit, meaning the song plays directly on Apple Music, and streaming counts toward Apple Music plays.

A More Social Music Experience
TikTok and Apple Music also launched a new feature called “Listening Party”, which lets fans listen to their favorite artists’ songs together. Fans can interact with each other and the artist during the session, offering what TikTok describes as a more social and interactive music experience.
