🧾 Ingredients for Quick Pickled Turnips
Turnips: 500 g
Salt: 1 tablespoon (for soaking)
Salt: 4 tablespoons (for pickling brine)
White vinegar: ½ cup
Water: 2 liters (boiled and cooled)
Sugar: 1 teaspoon
Beetroot: 1 piece, sliced (for color)
Hot peppers: 5 whole pieces

Wash and peel the turnips, then cut them into thick slices.
Place the turnips in a large bowl, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of salt, mix well, and let them sit for 30 minutes to release excess water.
In a separate bowl, mix the cooled boiled water with vinegar, 4 tablespoons of salt, and sugar until fully dissolved.
Drain the turnips from their released liquid.
Add sliced beetroot and hot peppers to the turnips.
