No-Oven Bread (Pan Bread Recipe)

One of the easiest and fastest ways to enjoy fresh homemade bread is by making it in a pan—no oven needed. This soft and delicious bread is perfect for breakfast or as a side dish with various meals.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 tsp instant yeast

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¾ cup warm water

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (optional)

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

  2. Gradually add warm water and knead until you get a soft and smooth dough.

  3. Add olive oil and knead again for about 5 minutes until the dough becomes elastic.

  4. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for 30 minutes, until it doubles in size.

  5. Divide the dough into small balls, then flatten each one into a slightly thick circle.

  6. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

  7. Cook each piece for 3–4 minutes on each side, until golden and slightly puffed.

  8. Serve warm with soup, beans, or your favorite dishes.

Tip

You can brush the bread with a little butter or olive oil after cooking for extra softness and flavor.
