In a step aimed at transforming the search experience, Google has officially launched its new feature “Search Live” globally. The feature allows users to engage in interactive conversations using voice and camera with the Gemini assistant inside the Google app. The rollout includes all regions and languages that support AI Mode, including Arabic-speaking countries.
Powered by Gemini 3.1 Flash Live
The new feature is based on the advanced Gemini 3.1 Flash Live voice model, which currently supports more than 90 languages worldwide. It delivers real-time, optimized responses with significantly improved speed and accuracy.
Available in Over 200 Countries
According to Google, Search Live is now available in more than 200 countries and territories. The system offers:
Instant, real-time responses
Advanced background noise cancellation for clearer interaction
Enhanced conversational continuity
Faster and More Intelligent Interaction
Search Live allows users to ask questions either by voice or through their camera. Thanks to integration with Google Lens, the system can analyze visual content in real time.
Google has also upgraded Gemini Live, enabling faster responses, improved accuracy, and longer contextual understanding during conversations.
A Shift Toward Conversational Search
Google states that this update represents a major shift in search technology, moving toward a more interactive model that combines voice and vision. The goal is to make search feel more like a natural human conversation rather than traditional text-based queries.
