Crispy Oven-Baked Potatoes Recipe (Healthy & Easy Side Dish)

Crispy oven-baked potatoes are one of the best ways to enjoy potatoes in a lighter and healthier form than frying. This simple side dish is loved by everyone and can be served with main meals or enjoyed as a tasty snack.

🥔 Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes (peeled and cut into sticks or cubes)

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt (to taste)

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • Rosemary (to taste)

  • 4 whole garlic cloves

👩‍🍳 Method

  1. Boil the potato pieces in hot water for about 5 minutes.

  2. Drain them, then place in cold water for another 5 minutes. Dry well using kitchen paper.

  3. Preheat the oven to 220°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  4. In a large bowl, mix potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, and garlic until well coated.

  5. Spread the potatoes in a single layer on the tray (do not overcrowd).

  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping once or twice during baking until golden and crispy.

  7. Serve hot with your favorite sauces.
