Apple has announced Apple Business, a new all-in-one platform designed to give companies everything they need to manage their devices easily, empower teams with essential apps and tools, and access expert support to operate and grow their businesses more efficiently and securely.
Apple Business includes an integrated mobile device management (MDM) system, allowing organizations to easily set up employee groups, device settings, security configurations, and applications using preconfigured templates known as Blueprints, enabling fast deployment. Customers can also set up business email, calendar, and directory services using their own domain, creating a more seamless and professional communication and collaboration experience.
The platform also helps millions of businesses expand their reach and connect with local customers through Apple apps such as Maps, Mail, Wallet, and Siri.
Apple Business will be available starting Tuesday, April 14, in more than 200 countries and regions.
Integrated Mobile Device Management
The built-in MDM system provides organizations with a unified view of Apple devices, settings, and management tools through a single interface. Previously available in the U.S. as part of Apple Business Essentials, this system is designed to simplify IT operations, even for small businesses without dedicated IT teams.
With the new Blueprints feature, devices can be configured quickly using pre-set applications and settings, ensuring consistency and security. Devices can even be set up automatically and be ready to use right out of the box.
Apple Business also offers options for additional iCloud storage, AppleCare for Business support, and a companion app that allows employees to install work apps, find colleagues’ contact details, and request support on the go.
Expanded Management Capabilities
Apple Business expands Apple Business Manager to over 200 regions and introduces enhanced features such as:
Managed Apple Accounts: Separates work and personal data with encrypted protection, and allows automatic account creation via identity providers like Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID.
Employee Management: Organize users into groups based on roles or teams and assign permissions and apps easily.
App Distribution: Purchase and distribute apps across teams through the App Store.
Admin API: Streamlines large-scale deployment with access to device data, user information, audit logs, and management services.
Productivity and Collaboration Tools
Apple Business includes fully integrated email, calendar, and directory services designed to help businesses establish a professional identity quickly. Companies can use their own domain or purchase one through Apple Business, improving communication and collaboration.
Features like calendar delegation and a built-in company directory make it easier for employees to connect with teams and contacts.
Brand and Location Management
Tools previously available in Apple Business Connect are now integrated into Apple Business, making it easier to manage brand presence across Apple services.
Key features include:
Consistent brand profiles (name, logo, details) across Maps and Wallet
Rich location cards with photos, hours, and business information
Custom offers and actions such as booking or ordering directly from Maps
Insights into customer interactions and engagement
Brand visibility in Mail, iCloud Mail, and Wallet transactions
Enhanced trust signals during payments on iPhone showing business name and logo
Pricing and Availability
Starting April 14, Apple Business will be available as a free service in the United States and more than 200 countries and regions, for both new and existing users of Apple Business Connect, Apple Business Essentials, and Apple Business Manager.
After launch, these older services will be discontinued, and Business Essentials device management fees will no longer be charged. Existing data from Business Connect will automatically be migrated to Apple Business.
The companion Apple Business app, along with email, calendar, and directory features, will require iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26.
