A Light and Healthy Ramadan Appetizer
Cheese with za’atar and olive oil is one of the healthy and light Ramadan appetizers commonly served during the holy month—especially at suhoor. Ingredients
200 g cottage cheese (or feta, cut into cubes or slices)
1 tablespoon dried za’atar
1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
Place the cheese in a serving dish.
Evenly sprinkle the dried za’atar over the cheese.
Drizzle olive oil on top.
Garnish with sesame seeds as desired.
Serve immediately with bread or tortillas as a light and healthy suhoor meal.
Optional Variation
For a creamy spread, blend all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth and serve as a za’atar-flavored cheese dip.
