Cheese and Ham Sandwich

Combining cold cuts with cheese and serving them between slices of bread is an old and popular idea in European and American cuisine. The cheese and ham sandwich is one of the simplest and most famous classic sandwiches worldwide, with many well-known variations such as the “club sandwich.”
Here is an easy and quick way to prepare a cheese and ham sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices white toast bread

  • 2 slices beef ham (or turkey ham, or chicken ham)

  • 2 slices cheddar cheese

  • 1 tsp mayonnaise

  • ½ tsp mustard

  • 1 lettuce leaf

  • 1 slice tomato

How to Prepare Cheese and Ham Sandwich

  1. Spread mayonnaise on the inside of the first slice of bread, and mustard on the inside of the second slice.

  2. Place the lettuce leaf on the slice spread with mayonnaise.

  3. Add the tomato slice on top of the lettuce.

  4. Place a slice of cheese on each slice of toast.

  5. Add a slice of ham on top of the cheese.

  6. Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread.

  7. Cut it diagonally and serve immediately with fries and your favorite sauce.
