Beef steak: 2 pieces (400 g)

Potatoes: 4, cut as desired

Salt: a pinch

Black pepper: a pinch

Olive oil: 1 tbsp (plus extra for the steak)

Unsalted butter: 2 tbsp

Mustard: 1 tbsp
Instructions

Boil the Potatoes:

Place the potatoes in a pot and cover with cold water.

Bring to a boil and add 1 tsp salt.

Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender.

Drain the potatoes.

Cook the Steak:

Heat a skillet over medium heat.

Season the steak with salt and black pepper, then rub with olive oil.

Cook until browned, about 5 minutes per side.

Reduce heat, add butter to the skillet, and pour it over the steak once melted.
