Chicken Wings: A Nutritious and Delicious Dish

Chicken is one of the most commonly consumed types of meat. It is loved for its versatility in preparation, delicious taste, and appealing appearance, which makes it a favorite for both adults and children. Oven-Baked Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 1 kg cleaned chicken wings

  • ½ cup barbecue sauce

  • ½ cup pure olive oil

  • 10 garlic cloves

  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice

  • 1 red chili pepper

  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander

  • 2 potatoes

  • 2 fresh tomatoes

  • Salt to taste

Preparation Method

  1. Clean the chicken wings thoroughly and cut each wing into two sections.

  2. Add barbecue sauce to the wings and marinate in the fridge for 2 hours.

  3. Crush the garlic and place it in a bowl. Add lemon juice, olive oil, and a pinch of salt, then mix well.

  4. Pour this mixture over the marinated chicken wings.

  5. Arrange the wings in a baking tray, adding sliced potatoes and tomatoes.

  6. Bake in the oven at medium heat until the wings and vegetables are golden brown and cooked through.

Chicken Wings with Vegetables

Ingredients

  • ½ kg chicken wings

  • 2 zucchinis

  • 2 carrots, sliced

  • 2 potatoes, sliced

  • 1 onion

  • 3 garlic cloves

  • 2 fresh tomatoes

  • Salt to taste

  • Water as needed

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp sumac spice

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 2 tbsp yogurt

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 tbsp white vinegar

  • 1 tsp mixed spices

Preparation Method

  1. Clean the chicken wings thoroughly, removing excess skin. Place them in a bowl with a little salt and lemon juice, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Wash and cut all vegetables into small round slices.

  3. Remove the chicken wings from the fridge, wash them again, and coat them with a spice mixture: lemon juice, crushed garlic, sumac, yogurt, paprika, a little vegetable oil, and black pepper.

  4. Place the wings in a suitable baking tray and add a small amount of water.

  5. Add the prepared vegetables to the tray, cover with aluminum foil, and bake in the oven at medium heat for about 30 minutes or slightly longer, until both the wings and vegetables are fully cooked.

The chicken wings with vegetables are now ready to serve — a wholesome, flavorful, and satisfying dish.
