A luxurious and elegant dish, perfect for lunch or a dinner gathering. This creamy beef steak combines tender slices of meat with butter and Parmesan cheese, creating a rich, velvety sauce and an irresistible flavor that feels truly gourmet.

⏱ Cooking Time: 30 minutes
🍽 Serves: 4 people

Ingredients:

  • 500 g beef steak

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon flour

  • ¼ cup butter

  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (extra for sauce)

  • ½ teaspoon oregano

  • ½ teaspoon salt

How to Prepare Beef Steak in White Sauce:

  1. Marinate the meat:
In a bowl, mix lemon juice, olive oil, mustard, black pepper, salt, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Coat the steak slices well and let them marinate in the refrigerator overnight.

  2. Cook the steak:
Heat a skillet and sear the steak on both sides for about 5 minutes per side. Lower the heat and let it cook gently until tender.

  3. Prepare the white sauce:
In another pan, melt the butter, then add the flour. Stir for 1–2 minutes until slightly golden.
Pour in milk gradually (about 1 cup, or enough for desired thickness), stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Add black pepper, salt, oregano, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce thickens.

  4. Finish the sauce:
Once the sauce thickens, remove it from the heat and stir in one tablespoon of lemon juice.

  5. Serve:
Arrange the steak slices on a serving plate, pour the white sauce over the top, and serve immediately.
