Barley Bread

Ingredients

  • Barley flour: 270 g

  • Whole wheat flour: 150 g

  • White flour: 150 g

  • Instant yeast: 10 g

  • Sugar: ½ teaspoon

  • Warm water: 1½ cups

  • Salt: ¾ teaspoon

How to Prepare Barley Bread

  1. In a large bowl, combine the barley flour, whole wheat flour, and white flour.

  2. Add the oil, warm water, salt, and yeast to the flour mixture.

  3. Knead the ingredients well until you get a soft and smooth dough.

  4. Cover the dough and let it rest for about 60 minutes, or until it doubles in size.

  5. Preheat the oven to 190°C (374°F).

  6. Bake the bread for 40 minutes on the lower rack, then for an additional 25 minutes on the middle rack until golden brown.
