Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets

Chicken nuggets are a classic American dish first created in the 1950s and have since become popular worldwide—especially among kids. Try this gluten-free version with simple steps and ingredients you likely already have at home!

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast: ½ kg (skinless, cut into small pieces)

  • Gluten-free flour: 1 cup

  • Black pepper: 1 teaspoon

  • Salt: 1 teaspoon

  • Paprika: 1 teaspoon

  • Eggs: 2

  • Gluten-free breadcrumbs: 1 cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).

  2. Lightly grease a baking tray with cooking spray.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the flour, black pepper, salt, and paprika.

  4. In a second bowl, beat the eggs.

  5. Place the gluten-free breadcrumbs in a third bowl.

  6. Coat each chicken piece in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

  7. Dip the floured chicken into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumbs.

  8. Place the coated chicken nuggets on the prepared baking tray.

  9. Bake for 25 minutes, then flip the nuggets and continue baking until golden brown and cooked through on both sides.

  10. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
