Delicious French Toast

Serve this light French dessert with Arabic coffee or orange juice and enjoy the flavor!

Ingredients:

  • Eggs: 4

  • Milk: 1 cup (liquid)

  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon

  • Cinnamon: ½ teaspoon

  • French toast bread (or thick toast slices): 8 slices

  • Butter: as needed (for frying)

  • Honey: to taste (for topping)

  • Fresh fruits: to taste (for garnish)

Preparation:

  1. In a deep bowl, whisk the eggs thoroughly.

  2. Add the milk and continue whisking until well combined.

  3. Add the vanilla extract and cinnamon, then whisk again.

  4. Dip each slice of toast into the egg mixture, coating both sides.

  5. In a skillet over medium heat, melt some butter, then place the soaked toast slices in the pan.

  6. Fry until golden brown on both sides.

  7. Place the French toast on a serving plate, drizzle with honey, garnish with fresh fruits, and serve warm.
